Egypt’s Mufti heads to Bosnia, Herzegovina to boost religious

Egypt’s Mufti Shawki Allam headed to Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina on Monday 25/10/2021 at an invitation from the country’s Grand Mufti Husein Kavazovic.

 

 

Ibrahim Negm, the adviser to the mufti, said in remarks that Allam will meet with a number of officials in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

During the visit, the Egyptian mufti will deliver a lecture at the Islamic studies college in Sarajevo, said Negm.

The adviser added the visit is the first of its kind by an Egyptian mufti, in which he visits the Balkans area to boost religious cooperation between Egypt and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
