ERC continues Ramadan aid projects, distributes food parcels in Hadhramaut

HADHRAMAUT: The Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) has continued to distribute hundreds of tonnes of Ramadan food supplies (Mir Ramadan) to the people of Hadramaut Governorate, as part of an urgent humanitarian intervention plan aimed at alleviating the suffering of the people and improving their living conditions, on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.

The ERC team distributed 1,122 food parcels during the first third of Ramadan, benefiting 4,822 individuals from families as well as cancer, thalassemia, and kidney failure patients in Mukalla, Khalifa City, and Hadramaut.

The dispatch of these relief convoys and iftar campaigns come in conjunction with the holy month, as part of the UAE’s relief efforts.
