BRUSSELS: The European Union’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell, welcomed the adoption of today’s UNSC Resolution 2728 on Gaza.
It demands an immediate ceasefire during Ramadan, leading to a lasting one, he said, emphasizing the need to expand the flow of aid into Gaza and protect civilians.
‘It needs an urgent implementation by all,’ he stressed.
