BRUSSELS, The European Union Monday said it is following the situation after the collapse of the US Silicon Valley Bank on Friday.
“We are monitoring the situation.
We take note of the swift and decisive action by the US authorities,” EU spokesperson for financial services and banking Daniel Ferrie, told journalists in Brussels.
“Within the EU there is a very limited presence of Silicon Valley Bank. Of course we are in touch with the relevant national competent authorities,” he added.
