Syria’s ambassador to Russia ,Dr. Riad Haddad said that Eurasia area played as anchor point connecting East and West leading to the development and cooperation between states and nations.

Haddad ‘s speech came during the international forum of people’s diplomacy in Moscow marking the fifth anniversary of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly.

“The Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly has worked since its founding to bolster communication among the peoples of Eurasia region and this communication is increasing today at all levels, particularly the popular and humanitarian ones,” Haddad added.

“Syria was one of the first countries that supported Russia’s in this battle due to the country’s totally conviction that the battle serves the interest of the peoples of the entire world, and its results will restore world history to its right track based on collaboration and partnership between the peoples of the East and West,” Haddad added.

The diplomat referred to the vast amount of lies, hypocrisy and misinformation adopted by the Western and international media outlets against Russia and its military operation.
