Amman, Minister of Awqaf, Islamic Affairs and Holy Sites, Mohammad Khalayleh, on Thursday inaugurated the 43rd international scientific session to highlight Amman Message’s contents at King Abdullah II Institute for Rehabilitation of Preachers.

Addressing the audience, Khalayleh said the document aims to fight extremist and terrorist ideologies regardless of their origin.

Jordan, he noted, has warned of the danger of terrorism and extremist ideology since 2004, adding that accordingly Amman Message was launched and scientific courses were held to explain its contents with participation of world scholars and thinkers.

The minister said the message also calls on uniting the Islamic nation and understanding Islam correctly.

12 brotherly and friendly countries are participating in the event, according to an Awqaf ministry statement.
