Jordan Enterprise Development Corporation (JEDCO) organised Saturday an open meeting for bodies, companies and authorities related to organising and holding exhibitions to introduce the latest instructions regulating the sector. JEDCO noted the role required by working with the private sector to realise the vision of economic modernisation to develop the work mechanisms used and to enable exhibition organising companies to develop the exhibition industry sector, according to a statement from the corporation. For their part, exhibition organising company owners discussed establishing an exhibition location on an international level and coordinating with the private sector “so that the Kingdom becomes a starting point for neighbouring countries and benefiting from the geographical location of the Kingdom.” They added that the exhibition centre would promote other industrial and service sectors.
