Riyadh, Within the framework of the Future of Education, Science, and Culture International Organizations Forum (FESCIOF) being held in Riyadh under the theme “Together for Impact in the 21st Century”, a panel session was held today entitled “Aligning Private Sector Activities and Investments with the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations 2030.” Participants included Princess Lamia bint Majed, the Secretary General of Alwaleed Philanthropies; Khalid Al-Zamil, Acting Vice President of Public Affairs at Saudi Aramco; and Carl Manlan, the Vice President of Inclusive Impact and Sustainability (Visa).

During the session, the participants touched on ways to achieve profitable partnerships for all sides, while including sustainable development goals in the decision-making process and practices in the private sector. They also discussed how the private sector works to align strategies and operations with sustainable development goals, and ways to facilitate partnerships among multiple stakeholders.
