Riyadh, The Future of Education, Science, and Culture International Organizations Forum (FESCIOF), which is organized by the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO) and the Saudi National Commission for Education, Culture and Science, held a panel discussion titled “Impact Investors – Expanding The Ecosystem”.

The session raised questions about “How can the international development community guide the investors of tomorrow?” and “What are the opportunities for start-ups within “Environmental, Social and Governance investment”?.

The session stressed that this “sustainable financing” trend constitutes a significant part of the venture capital community. As a result, more investors are evaluating how their investments impact environmental and social outcomes. The session also discussed the rise in sovereign wealth funds that manage assets worth USD10.5 trillion, which they invested in environmental, social, and corporate governance.
