Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ayman Safadi, discussed in a phone call with his Bulgarian counterpart, Ivan Kondov, ways to develop bilateral relations and regional and international issues of common concern. In the phone call both ministers voiced keenness to develop ties between the two countries, and to create broader spaces for economic cooperation. The two ministers also discussed the Palestinian cause and Arab efforts to reach a political solution to the Syrian crisis. Safadi congratulated Kondov on assuming his new position as Foreign Minister.
