ABU DHABI: The Federal National Council (FNC)’s Committee Chairs Board held a virtual meeting today on Friday.
During the meeting, the board’s members elected Saeed Rashid Al Abedi as chairman and Mohammed Ahmed Al Yamahi as rapporteur.
The members comprise the chairpersons of the FNC’s standing committees, who are Dr. Ahmed Eid Al Mansoori, Dr. Ali Rashid Al Nuaimi, Dr. Nidhal Mohammed Al Tunaiji, Dr. Adnan Hamad Al Hammadi and Mariam Majid bin Thani.
The board is tasked with discussing matters related to specialist committees referred to by the FNC, the FNC Office of Saqr Ghobash, Speaker of the FNC, providing that they do not contradict the rules of procedure of the specialist committees.
