ABU DHABI: The Parliamentary Division of the Federal National Council (FNC) of the UAE took part in the plenary session of the Arab Parliament in Cairo. The meeting was part of the fourth session of the third legislative term, convened at the League of Arab States headquarters.

The delegation includes Mohammed Ahmed Al Yamahi, Head of the FNC Parliamentary Division and Member of the Foreign and Political Affairs and National Security Committee; Naama Abdullah Al-Sharhan, Second Vice President of the Division and Member of the Social, Educational, Cultural, Women and Youth Affairs Committee, and other members.

Al Yamahi noted that the session reviewed the current developments in the Arab world, and discussed the formation of an Arab parliamentary vision to contribute to resolving the escalating crises in the Arab region. The report of the Foreign and Political Affairs Committee on the political and security developments in a number of Arab countries was presented, stressing the importance of supporting their
stability and security.
