For the first time in Syria, “Bebras Computing Challenge” kicks off its competitions

Damascus, SANA- The Bebras Computing Challenge started Sunday with participation of 4928 students of basic and secondary schools across many Syrian provinces.

Distinction and Creativity Agency said that the challenge is held for the first time in Syria to motivate Computational Thinking among school students at all ages.

The agency said that the five-day challenge will include computational thinking-related puzzles and questions, where each participant works through a set of tasks according to age groups that focus on different topics and skills within informatics and computational thinking. They will have 45 minutes to complete as many tasks as they can.

The challenge is held daily online from 8.00 am till 20.00 pm.
