Foreign Ministry says immediate ceasefire is the sole way to oblige Israel to implement ICJ ruling

RAMALLAH: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates emphasized today that an immediate ceasefire is a field and practical condition to oblige Israel, the occupying power, to implement the measures approved by the International Court of Justice (ICJ), to protect civilians and secure their basic humanitarian needs.

The Ministry said, in a statement, that the continuation of committing acts of genocide by Israel against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip is considered a challenge to the court’s decision. It will also lead to drag the region into further systematic destruction as Israeli warplanes continued it’s targeting of hospitals and sewage stations.

The Ministry further condemned the ongoing genocidal war on Gaza Strip for the 113th day, in a clear Israeli intention to complete the destruction of Gaza and turn it into an uninhabitable place.
