RAMALLAH: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates today said that the occupation authorities have turned the lives of Palestinian people in the West Bank into an “unbearable hell” through intensifying their restrictions on citizens’ movement and livelihood.

The Ministry warned of the catastrophic repercussions regarding the situation in the West Bank, stressing that this will only drag the region into a spiral of violence and chaos.

The Ministry affirmed, in a press statement, that the Palestinian people are in urgent need for international protection at these particular times and more than ever before in order to enable them to exercise their right to self-determination away from the occupation and the Israeli apartheid regime.

The Ministry added that the occupation imposes an unjust siege on the occupied West Bank and carries out widespread incursions and large-scale detention campaigns, leaving dozens of Palestinians killed and injured.

The Ministry also highlighted the unprecedented heinous at
tacks and acts of violence committed by extremist Israeli colonists against the Palestinian people and their properties in the occupied West Bank, including Jerusalem, the latest of which took place in Massafer Yatta and Nablus when a group of Israeli armed colonists attacked farmers and forced them to leave their lands at gunpoint.
