JENIN: Four Palestinian youths were Tuesday killed, and another was injured, in a bombing by an occupation drone on a group of youths, amid destruction of infrastructure, in the Sibat neighborhood of the city of Jenin.

The director of Jenin Hospital, Wissam Bakr, told WAFA that four youths were killed, and one was wounded, after being directly targeted by a drone.

Some of the slain Palestinians were identified as: Rafiq al-Dabbous, Mahmoud Abu Srour, Bakr Siddiq Zakarneh, and Thaer Abu al-Tin.

He added that the occupation aircraft dropped toxic smoke bombs in the hospital yard, as the occupation forces prevented the transfer of Abu Al-Tin to Jenin Hospital, forcing ambulance crews to transfer him to the health center in the town of Qabatiya.

Since the early morning hours, the occupation forces surround the Ibn Sina, Jenin Governmental, and Al-Razi hospitals, and prevent ambulances from transporting the slain Palestinians.

The occupation forces destroyed the roundabout of the slain prisoner Kamal Abu Waar
in the Jabriyat neighborhood in Jenin, and caused damages to the infrastructure.

According to WAFA correspondent, the father of the slain youth Zakarneh suffered a stroke after receiving the news of his son’s killing. He is the father of the slain youth Sidqi, who was killed by Israeli forces on December 8, 2022.

The Director of Jenin Education, Salam Al-Taher, announced that school in the city of Jenin and its camp, or in any gathering where the occupation forces are present, will turn to e-learning.

Israeli forces are still preventing press crews from being present in the areas where raids are occurring, and covering what is happening there.

It is noteworthy that the occupation forces stormed the city and the camp, accompanied by several military bulldozers from Jenin-Nazareth Street, amid confrontations in several areas, as occupation soldiers and snipers occupied a number of residential buildings in a number of city neighborhoods.

The occupation forces conducted a campaign of inspections and raids on
homes in the camp and the neighborhoods of Al-Jabriyat, Talat Al-Ghubaz, Abu Dhahir, Al-Bayader area, and Al-Marah neighborhood, amid the outbreak of confrontations.

Confrontations broke out at the entrance to the towns of Al-Yamoun and Al-Sila Al-Harithiya, west of Jenin.

The occupation forces besieged a number of hospitals in the city of Jenin, and their military vehicles were deployed heavily in various streets of the city and around the camp.

Madrid: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ayman Safadi, met on Tuesday with Spain’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union, and Cooperation, José Manuel Albarez.

The meeting, held on the sidelines of His Majesty King Abdullah’s visit to Madrid, covered the necessity of a ceasefire in Gaza and the entry of sufficient and sustainable humanitarian aid into the Strip.

Safadi urged the international community to take fast and meaningful action to halt Israel’s cruel aggression against the Palestinian people, as well as the killing and destruction it causes.

According to Safadi, this aggression represents raw, violent vengeance and translates into radical Israeli policies that dehumanize Palestinians and deny their right to freedom and an independent state.

Safadi commended Spain’s firm stance in demanding a cease-fire and defending Palestinian rights, particularly their right to live in security and peace in an independent, sovereign state based on the two-state soluti
on.

The two ministers resolved to keep working together to avert the calamity and achieve a just, comprehensive, and long-term peace based on the two-state solution.
