Amman: French Foreign Minister Stephane Sejourne said that Palestinians have the right to sovereignty and statehood.
Sejourne added in a tweet on X that France will remain faithful to its commitment to achieve this goal.
The minister’s remarks came in response to recent statements made by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who opposed the idea of Palestinian sovereignty in Gaza, asserting that Israel must retain control over the security of all of the Palestinian territories.
