FUJAIRAH: H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, has met with Omar Habtoor Al Darei, Chairman of the General Authority of Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Zakat and Emirati preacher and researcher Thani Abdullah Al Muhairi, on the sidelines of the fifth lecture of the Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi majalis held in Qasr Al Rumaila.
The discussion focused on the efforts of the authority in spreading religious awareness and promoting authentic Islamic values and principles in the UAE community.
The Crown Prince of Fujairah emphasised the Emirate of Fujairah’s commitment to providing knowledge in various fields that concern members of society, based on the directives of H.H. Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, and his continuous support for its results and ensuring its sustainability, and in achievement of the country’s vision in empowering individuals with science, knowledge and values.
Sheikh Mohammed pointed out the import
ance of establishing the values of human coexistence and strengthening its concepts, and the need to understand human psychology, and the role of scholars in spreading community awareness about its positive impact among all members of society.
He praised the efforts of the General Authority for Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Zakat in various fields.
A number of officials attended the meeting.
