Fujairah Ruler briefed on GAIAE’s future projects

H.H. Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, received Omar Habtoor Al Darei, assigned Chairman of the General Authority for Islamic Affairs and Endowments (GAIAE) and his accompanying delegation.

During the meeting, Sheikh Hamad was briefed about the authority’s prominent plans and projects.

The Ruler of Fujairah welcomed Dr. Al Darei, wishing him success in the GAIAE’s presidency, praising the Authority’s strategy in managing its affairs and delivering its message to society with cultural foundations that keep up with it, calling for continued development and advancement in a way that achieves the aspirations of the UAE government in enhancing the tolerant teachings of Islam, which emphasises tolerance, coexistence, acceptance of others.

Al Darei extended thanks to the Ruler of Fujairah for his warm welcome and hospitality, lauding his attention given to the Authority’s affairs in the Emirate of Fujairah and supporting its initiatives and projects.

He also emph
asised GAIAE’s keenness to consolidate its mission, supported by great support of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan; His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai; His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, and the Supreme Council Members, Their Highnesses the Rulers of the Emirates.

Mohammed Saeed Al Dhanhani, Director of the Fujairah Emiri Court, attended the meeting.
