For the second year in a row, Generations For Peace maintained its global ranking on the Geneva-based The Dot Good’s top 200 social good organizations around the world for the year 2023, ranking 25th on the list. Generations For Peace is a non-profit organization founded in 2007 and chaired by His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Al Hussein to implement programs in Jordan and abroad and transform conflicts into sustainable peace at the grassroots level. In a statement on Monday, the organization said that on the regional level, Generations For Peace ranked first among social good organizations and third on The Dot Good’s top organizations specialized in peacebuilding on the international level. Prince Faisal said: “Maintaining this classification for two consecutive years is an affirmation of the prominent role played by Generations For Peace in bringing about sustainable and positive change in societies, led by its work team, volunteers and with the support of its partners.” He stated that this achievement is an international recognition of the exceptional efforts made by Generations For Peace to provide spaces for young women and men who aspire for change in Jordan and the world and to work with them side-by-side to empower them and promote the values of responsible citizenship among them to “build a present and a future that transcends the values of peace that we desperately need.” Prince Faisal underscored that Generations For Peace will continue its peace-building mission and is committed to expanding the scope of its programs in line with the needs and contexts of the societies in which it operates to ensure the sustainable impact of these programs.
