Gomez: Syrian-Venezuelan relations are deeply-rooted

Chargé d’ affaires of the Venezuelan Embassy in Damascus, Joaquín Gómez, describe as deep and friendly the relations between Syria and Venezuela, pointing to the need for solidarity and cooperation among all “free countries.”

 

” Venezuela and Syria enjoy relations of friendship and cooperation on the international level,” Gómez told SANA on the sidelines of a special seminar about the Venezuelan municipal and local elections that took place on November 21st, adding that during the most difficult conditions Syria has passed through, Venezuela was one of the countries that “raised the voice high in rejection of any resolution that contradicts rights of  Syrian people.”

 

As for the elections in Venezuela, the Ambassador stressed that facts and numbers indicate fairness of the electoral process.
