Government denies willingness of Finance Ministry to levy new taxes on citizens to increase public revenues of state

The media center of the Cabinet has denied rumors that the Ministry of Finance is willing to impose new taxes on citizens to increase the public revenues of the state.

 

In a statement on Tuesday, the center said that the ministry affirmed that the news is void of truth.

 

The ministry reiterated that the state seeks the stability of the tax policies to guarantee the support efforts of setting the business environment and atmosphere and expand the taxes base without imposing any new taxes.

 

The center urged the different media means to be accurate in issuing such reports.
