Government Experience Exchange Programme announces new leadership development programmes with Kazakhstan, Malta, Madagascar

DUBAI: The Government Experience Exchange Programme in the UAE has announced the launch of leadership development programs with Kazakhstan, Malta, and Madagascar. The announcement was made during the World Governments Summit 2024.

The Programme is a knowledge exchange platform that aims to transfer the best experiences and practices adopted by the UAE in modernisation and government development.

The leadership programmes are designed in partnership with ‘Mohammed bin Rashid Centre for Leadership Development’ and ‘Mohammed bin Rashid School of Government’.

Abdulla Nasser Lootah, Deputy Minister of Cabinet Affairs for Competitiveness and Knowledge Exchange, said, ‘The programme aims to create unique experiences between the governments of participating countries at the World Governments Summit and the UAE. Dual programmes are designed according to each country’s requirements to benefit from the programme’.

The Government Experience Exchange Programme has graduated over 180 government leaders from 46 countrie
s, after their participation in various leadership programmes, during which they spent over 10,000 training hours.

This included 30 participants in the Government Global Leaders Programme for Global Executive Leaders from 28 countries, 40 Executive Leaders in the Future Leaders Programme (ARADO), 27 participants in the Seychelles Executive Leadership Programme, 20 participants in Malta Executive Leadership Programme, 25 participants in the Uzbekistan Young Leadership Programme, 22 participants in Maldives Future Leadership Programme, and 15 participants Kurdistan Future Leadership Programme.

The UAE Government Experience Exchange Programme achieved great results reflected on governments and countries who benefited from the knowledge, expertise and pioneering experiences developed by the UAE in government work.

The UAE government created innovative solutions to various current and future challenges, and discovered new tracks and development opportunities, which make the core of goals and focus. Partnerships
with governments through the programme can build a better and sustainable future for communities and people.

The meetings and discussions with delegations of countries provided an opportunity to expand the positive impact of the Government Experience Exchange Programme. Effective partnerships were established with more than 30 countries with about 30 million working hours, which reflect the UAE’s efforts in empowering governments and creating a better future for people.
