Hasaka governor : QSD militia’s violations deprive children from education

Governor of Hasaka province, Ghassan Khalil, affirmed on Thursday that there is a large number of children who are deprived form education as a result of violations of QSD militia who seize schools and ban education in a systematised way.

 

Khalil who met Representative of the UN Children’s Fund (UNICEF) in Syria, Bo Viktor Nylund, said that Syria is ready to provide support and facilitate the organization’s work in the province, calling for the necessity of expanding the activities and projects of the organization during the next year’s plan to be more comprehensive and achieve greater benefit for the people.

 

Nylund , For his part, affirmed that the organization will expand its projects during 2022 in the governorate, especially in the fields of education and health, and efforts will be exerted to let children continue their education to ensure a better future for them.
