Health Ministry: 135 new coronavirus cases recorded, 22 patients recover, 5 pass away

The Health Ministry announced on Monday that 135 new coronavirus cases were registered in Syria, adding that 22 patients recovered and 5 passed away.

 

The Ministry, in a statement, noted that the total number of infections which have been registered in Syria has reached up to 28,678 of which 22,597 have recovered, while 2,044 have passed away.

 

The first coronavirus case was registered in Syria on March 22nd in a person who came from abroad, while the first fatality was reported on the 29th of the same month.
