Health Ministry: 317 new coronavirus cases recorded, 12 pass away

The Health Ministry announced on Tuesday  that 317 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Syria, adding that 70 coronavirus patients recovered, while 12 others passed away.

 

In a statement, the Ministry added that the total number of the coronavirus cases detected in Syria has reached up to 33,640 till now, of which 23,669 have recovered, while 2,227 others have passed away.

 

The first coronavirus case was recorded in Syria on March 22nd in a person who came from abroad, while the first fatality from the virus was reported on the 29th of the same month.
