The Ministry of Health and Population launched on Sunday 56 medical convoys starting December 11 till January 20 as part of presidential initiative “Decent Life”.
Health ministry spokesman Hossam Adel Ghaffar said the medical convoys are deployed to border governorates and remote villages.
He pointed out that convoys include various subspecialties such as internal diseases, pediatrics, otolaryngology, surgery, osteopathy, dentistry, cardiology, dermatology, obstetrics and gynecology, family planning and x-ray services.
