Damascus, SANA- Health Ministry launched on Sunday the intensive national campaign for vaccination against Corona virus in various provinces.
SANA reporter said that the campaign will continue until 3rd of next month.
Director of Primary Healthcare at the Ministry, Dr. Razan al-Tarabishi, said in a statement to SANA that the campaign targets people over 18 years, and involves 3,841 health workers distributed over 21 hospitals, 852 health centers and 368 mobile teams are taking part in this campaign.
The Director of Damascus Health, Dr. Muhammad Samer Shahrour, said that the number of health personnel participating in the campaign in Damascus is 461 in 39 health centers, 3 hospitals and 25 mobile teams, pointing out that awareness sessions on the importance of vaccination will be carried out in health centers and medical clinics, in addition to some universities.
