Washington, National Security Advisor, Royal Guard Commander, Major-General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, has discussed ways to strengthen Bahraini-US cooperation with the US Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs, Barbara A. Leaf, as part of his current visit to the USA.
HH Shaikh Nasser affirmed that Bahrain is resolved to continue enhancing its distinguished relations with the USA across various fields.
The National Security Advisor and the US official discussed ways to enhance bilateral relations in a way that contributes to achieving the desired goals and serving common interests. They also reviewed a number of issues of mutual concern.
Bahrain’s Ambassador to the USA, Shaikh Abdulla bin Rashid Al Khalifa, and Assistant National Security Advisor, Shaikh Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa, were present.
