Higher Education and Scientific Research Minister Ayman Ashour has underlined the need to direct researches to develop industry and serve society.
In a statement issued on Saturday 01/04/2023, the minister underscored the important societal and service roles of research centers on supporting industry, agriculture, health and technology domains and helping face economic challenges and realize the Sustainable Development Strategy (SDS) Egypt Vision 2030.
Ashour reviewed the steps taken by the Higher Education and Scientific Research Ministry to adopt such strategies through launching some 15 national and international initiatives on this score.
The minister added that he held a meeting with the president of the Arab Organization for Industrialization to discuss the manufacture of the first environment-friendly electric car in Egypt and review means to develop the technology of electric vehicles locally.
