His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received a cable of congratulations from Supreme Council for the Environment (SCE) Vice President, High Authority of the Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club (REHRC) Deputy Chairman and Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS) Member HH Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa, on the achievement acclaimed by the Representative of HM the King for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs, and the Captain of the Royal Endurance Team, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, who won first place in the FEI Endurance World Championship, making him the champion of the 160 km race in Abu Dhabi.
Shaikh Faisal expressed his pride in the honorable achievement and stressed that it was a result of continuous royal patronage to the sport in the Kingdom.
He praised the efforts of HH Shaikh Nasser in winning many international sports championships that it’s added to the Kingdom’s record of sporting achievements in the field of equestrian and endurance racing and wished him further success in international sports forums.
