Several Participants in the festival told SANA reporter that the event is a practical activity with a high marketing value that displays beekeepers’ products, production requirements, wooden beehives, medical and food industries from materials produced by bees.

What distinguishes the festival is the participation of the silk manufacturers, as there is continuity in silkworm breeding and the production of silk thread and textiles despite all the difficulties,” one beekeeper said.

The festival, which is organized by the Agriculture Ministry, kicked off on 14th of December with the participation of about 41 beekeepers from various provinces, it lasts until December 18th.
