ABU DHABI: Houbara Defence and Security company highlights a range of its unmanned systems, training solutions, and applications during its participation in the UMEX 2024 exhibition.

Ammar Qweider, Sales and Development Manager at company, stated to the Emirates News Agency (WAM), “Houbara is a joint venture of MGE and QinetiQ, a leading provider of scientific and defense solutions.”

He added, “During our participation in the exhibition, we present a wide range of unmanned target systems, starting from small unmanned aerial vehicles to supersonic missile targets that can be used for operational readiness testing, in addition to fixed-wing aircraft that assist in training, as well as radar displays, sensing devices, and tracking systems.”

“We are present in the UAE and have a complete centre at the Tawazun Industrial Park. This is not the first participation for ‘Houbara’ in ‘UMEX’ due to the importance of the exhibition,” he noted.

He pointed out that Houbara Defence and Security specialises in explosive
ordnance disposal robots, search and rescue matters, as well as devices for air, ground, and maritime targets, operating through the use of remote control.

The company focuses on creating technological systems used for training and skill development for the armed forces in the UAE.

He added, “the company’s target systems are used by naval forces worldwide and include fast dynamic attack boats targeting cut-off targets.”

“Our company specialises in providing cutting-edge training systems for all levels of maritime warfare, from basic maneuvers to advanced swarm attack simulations,” he explained. ‘These ready-to-use systems integrate seamlessly with your existing infrastructure, allowing you to conduct realistic live-fire exercises with minimal setup and effort.’
