Bizzotti said King Abdullah’s visit to Italy helped develop Jordanian-Italian ties, affirming support for Jordan’s efforts to achieve a just and comprehensive peace in the Middle East and for the Hashemite custodianship over Islamic and Christian sanctities in Jerusalem. He praised the Kingdom’s political, economic, and administrative reforms, pointing to Italian projects in Jordan and showing a willingness to boost Italian tourist numbers.
