Occupied Palestinian Territories — The humanitarian situation in Gaza has reached its most critical point, said UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs, Martin Griffiths, in a press conference on Monday.

According to Jordan News Agency, Griffiths emphasized the importance of upholding international humanitarian law, allowing the safe and expansive delivery of aid, and protecting civilians. He stated that he will engage in talks with all parties involved to expand the scope of the humanitarian response. Griffiths also praised the work of his office staff in the occupied Palestinian territories, describing their efforts as heroic.
