The Hungarian parliament ratified Monday Finland’s membership of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).

A large majority of lawmakers – 182 votes for versus six against – approved the step, Hungary’s news agency reported.

The agency said the parliament also discussed Sweden’s NATO membership bid, however the voting process has not been listed on the agenda.
