The Cabinet’s Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC) has launched a virtual version of its annual report on Tuesday 24/1/2023 “Egypt Through the Eyes of the World” via the metaverse technology.

The virtual version was launched in conjunction with the original report, which monitors the development of Egypt’s performance in a number of development areas during 2022 through indicators and reports issued by 60 international and regional institutions.

The new version allows for a virtual tour of a gallery that includes pages of the online report.

It is the first time publications of the IDSC are available for metaverse users.

“Egypt Through the Eyes of the World” report is divided into four main axes: economic, digital transformation, social and environmental.

The economic axis focuses on Egypt’s resilience and the ability of its economy to cope with successive crises.

The digital transformation and entrepreneurship axis highlights digital transformation efforts and the future of Egypt’s startups.

The social axis focuses on human and community development efforts as well as Egypt’s role at the international level.

The environmental axis highlights Egypt’s efforts to combat climate change in light of its hosting of the COP27 climate change conference.
