Baghdad, Independent MP Jawad Al-Yasari affirmed: “returning to the Saint-Lego law provides a service to large entities and parties.”
Al-Yasari said in a statement to the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA /: “The large blocs and parties suffered a great loss due to the adoption of multiple constituencies, which served the small blocs and independents.”
He added, “The past elections were the best, as they divided one constituency into multiple and gave way to the rise of new faces.”
He explained: ” returning to the Saint-Lego law and the single constituency constitutes protection for some entities and parties, whose voices are dispersed in the multiple constituencies.”
