Amman: INJAZ and MetLife Foundation said they are working together to implement a series of INJAZ programs in four public schools in Jordan, focused on building and enhancing students’ skills in various fields.

This collaboration is part of the School Adoption Campaign conducted by INJAZ in partnership with the Ministry of Education, which aims to involve partners and supporters across sectors in the development of the educational process, a foundation statement said Sunday.

Country Manager of MetLife Jordan, Osama Hannoush, said, “Our partnership with INJAZ in Jordan is more than a commitment; it’s a shared vision to develop future generations. Through this initiative, we’re not just educating but empowering young minds to build financial skill sets that will serve them throughout their lives.”

“Leveraging the expertise of our volunteers, we aim to help provide a future where young individuals are aware of their responsibilities and capable of innovating and leading in their respective fields,” Hannoush a
dded.

For her part, INJAZ CEO, Deema Bibi, affirmed the importance of the initiative and its direct and sustainable impact on students and the educational environment as a whole. She added that INJAZ values this effective partnership with the MetLife Foundation as a partner and supporter in implementing their various programs aimed at empowering students and building their skills.

Bibi added that at INJAZ, they believe that empowering young people and preparing them early for the job market is a shared responsibility for all sectors and active entities in society.

According to the statement, the initiative includes the implementation of a variety of programs, including the Company Start-Up Program, Ask the Expert Program, Debate Program, Personal Life Planning Program, and Job Shadowing Program. The goal is to prepare students to be more capable and efficient in meeting the future needs of the job market and keeping pace with the developments required by the youth in the fields of entrepreneurship and inno
vation. The partnership also works towards improving the school environment by meeting the basic needs of the participating schools in the initiative.

This partnership aligns the goals of INJAZ with those of MetLife Foundation’s strategy to drive inclusive economic mobility for underserved and underrepresented communities around the globe.

This initiative is aiming to develop and support the youth, open economic opportunities for them, and empower them through academic and practical training. The collaboration also contributes to fulfilling social responsibility across various sectors and promoting a culture of volunteer work.
