Amman: Minister of Interior Mazen Faraya on Thursday met with his Algerian counterpart Ibrahim Murad on the sidelines of the Arab Interior Ministers Council’s meeting held in Tunisia.
The two ministers praised the momentum of Jordanian-Algerian ties in the past few months thanks to His Majesty King Abdullah’s visit to Algeria, followed by delegation visits during which several side agreements were signed, according to a ministry statement.
Faraya and Murad also agreed to exchange visits and enhance cooperation in interior affairs.
