The Iranian Foreign Ministry has condemned the Israeli aerial aggression that targeted Damascus City at dawn last Monday, which led to the martyrdom of two persons.
“The crime of the Zionist entity represented in the missile attack on the outskirts of Damascus, which led to the martyrdom of two persons, is due to the brutal tendency of the Israeli occupation entity,” Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh said in a statement on Wednesday, strongly condemning this terrorist crime.
Khatibzadeh indicated that two Iranian consultants in Syria were martyred in the Israeli aggression, stressing that this crime will not go unnoticed.
“The response to the crime committed by the racist Zionist entity will be among the objectives of the axis of resistance in the region,” Khatibzadeh said.
The Iranian Revolutionary Guard issued a statement yesterday condemning the Israeli aggression on Syrian lands, indicating that “Israel” will pay the price for its crime.
A military source asserted that the Israeli enemy committed an aerial aggression at dawn last Monday from the direction of southern Beirut, targeting some sites in the vicinity of Damascus City. Two persons were martyred in the aggression which also caused some material damages.
