Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation Hani Sweilem participated on Wednesday 28/12/2022 in the meeting of the Agriculture, Irrigation and Water Resources Committee in the Senate.
Swailem expressed his happiness to participate in this meeting, pointing to the permanent and great interest shown by the Egyptian state towards water issues.
The minister reviewed the efforts of the Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation in the field of canal rehabilitation, as 6,470 km of canals have been rehabilitated, and another 3,776 km are being rehabilitated, and 1,823 km are being laid out, with a total of 1,2069 km.
