Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Ayman Ashour issued on Tuesday 28/03/2023 a decision appointing Islam Hamza Abo el-Maged el-Junaidi as acting Chairman of the National Authority for Remote Sensing and Space Sciences (NARSS).

He occupied many positions, including the vice president of the African Organization for Remote Sensing and the Environment.
