BEIRUT: Israeli warplanes launched a series of airstrikes along with artillery shelling this morning targeting several towns and villages in southern Lebanon.

The Lebanese National News Agency reported that the Israeli strikes targeted the towns of Shab’a, Kfar Shuba, and Helta during the early hours of the morning.

Prior to that, Israeli warplanes conducted airstrikes, resulting in the destruction of a house in the village of Shab’a and two houses in the village of Kfar Shuba, as well as damage to more than 35 houses in both villages.

Furthermore, Israeli artillery targeted the vicinity of the town of Khiam, while the Israeli forces targeted the town of Yaroun with white phosphorus shells and flares, causing a fire to break out.
