Israeli authorities announced that they decided to revoke the residence visa of UN Humanitarian Coordinator Lynn Hastings over her position concerning October 7th attack.

Israeli Foregin Minister Elie Cohen said on X that Hastings “cannot serve in the UN and cannot enter Israel!”

This came shortly after statements by Hastings who said that the conditions required to deliver aid to the people of Gaza do not exist.

‘If possible, an even more hellish scenario is about to unfold, one in which humanitarian operations may not be able to respond,” she said.

“Nowhere is safe in Gaza, and there is nowhere left to go,” she added.

The move to revoke Hasting’s visa also came after growing criticism from the UN over the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, which has so far killed more than 16,000 Palestinians.
