Beirut: Three people were killed and several others were injured in an Israeli airstrike that targeted the Lebanese border town of Marwahin on Sunday evening.
A security source told Petra’s correspondent in Beirut that the Israeli artillery targeted the square in the town of Howala and the town of Marqaba with phosphorus shells, causing cases of suffocation, where a number of people were rushed to the hospital.
He added that the Israeli artillery targeted the towns of Al-Dhahirah, Kafr Kila, the hills of the town of Marqaba, and the Masharon area located between the towns of Marqaba and Tulossa. At the same time, the Israeli warplanes raided the towns of Aita al-Shaab and Maron al-Ras.
