Gaza: In the early hours of Wednesday, and during the last night, dozens of Palestinians were killed and wounded as Israeli warplanes bombarded various areas in the Gaza Strip, with a particular focus on Khan Yunis in the south.

Palestinian sources reported that the occupation forces’ artillery deliberately targeted schools surrounding the Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Yunis, where a significant number of displaced people sought refuge, resulting in numerous injuries.

Furthermore, an Israeli airstrike targeted a vehicle belonging to civilians west of the city of Rafah in the southern part of the Strip, causing additional injuries.

In the central Gaza Strip, three Palestinians lost their lives, while several others, mostly women and children, were wounded when Israeli warplanes bombed a house in the Al-Hasayna area, west of Nuseirat.

In the northern part of the coastal enclave, a residential house in Jabalia was also targeted by the occupation forces aircraft, resulting in the deaths of at least seven Pal
estinians, primarily women.

Medical sources in Gaza City reported on Tuesday, that 20 deaths, who were recovered from the western area of the city, were admitted to Al-Shifa Hospital.

Addressing the situation, United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres stated last night “The entire population of Gaza is enduring destruction at a scale and speed without parallel in recent history. Nothing can justify the collective punishment of the Palestinian people,” said Guterres.

Guterres further emphasized the dire conditions in Gaza, stating, “Everyone in Gaza is hungry,” adding “Disease is spreading as the health system collapses.” He also said that the quantities of humanitarian aid entering Gaza are completely insufficient.

With an unfathomable toll, the number of casualties since the beginning of the aggression on the Gaza Strip on the seventh of last October has risen to approximately 25,450 martyrs and 63,000 injured, as indicated by the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza.
