JERUSALEM: Israeli authorities Monday impose strict restriction on the family of a Palestinian child who was killed and whose body was briedly withheld by the Israeli forces last week.

The occupation forces handed over the body of Rami Hamdan Al-Halhouli, 13, from the Shuafat refugee camp, northeast of Jerusalem, late in the morning today.

Al-Halhouli’s body was buried at dawn today to his final resting place in the cemetery of the town of Anata, east of the occupied capital.

The occupation forces imposed strict restrictions on al-Halhouli’s family, including demanding them to bury the child at night, limiting the number of mourners to no more than 50 people, and that the child’s body be buried in the cemetery of the town of Anata, adjacent to the camp, noting that his family used to bury their dead in the Lions’ Gate cemetery adjacent to the Jerusalem Wall.

An Israeli sniper killed Al-Halhouli while he was having fun with other children with fireworks on March 12.
