Israeli occupation authorities today ordered a number of Palestinian residents in the villages of Bardala and Kardala, in the northern Jordan Valley, to stop the construction work on several privately-owned structures, said a local offical. Mutaz Bsharat, an official responsible for tracking Israeli activities in the Jordan valley, said Israeli forces last night distributed notices ordering several residents in Bardala village to stop the construction work on a 150-square-meter agricultural shed and a three-storey house built out of cement, in addition to a notice ordering to stop work on a piece of land that was leveled for construction. Forces further handed a local resident in Kardala village a similar notice against his 133-square-meter house, which is still under construction.
