HEBRON: Israeli colonists today attacked a Palestinian shepherd west of the town of Dura, south of Hebron, and threatened to shoot and kill him, according to local sources.

Sources said that colonists from the Israeli colony of Negohot; built illegally on Dura’s land, attacked and beat up a shepherd while he was grazing his sheep, which necessitated his transfer to the hospital for medical treatment. The shepherd sustained cuts and bruises throughout his body.

According to sources, colonists threatened the Shepherd to shoot and kill him if he continued to graze his sheep in the area.

Farmers and shepherds in southern Hebron, including the Masafer Yatta area, are subjected to daily harassment, attacks and forced expulsion from the grazing pastures.
